ACCOUNTS

Is there an account minimum?
Yes. Ditto Trade requires a minimum of $2,000 to open an account.

How do I open an account with Ditto Trade?
Ditto Trade allows you to open an account online using an e-signature. You can open an individual, joint, cash, margin or options account using our online process. For corporate accounts, IRA’s and other accounts you will need to fill out the appropriate forms and then print and mail them to:

Will I receive a 1099 form for my account?
Yes, all accounts that you have with Ditto Trade will receive a consolidated 1099 form in January of each year.

Do you offer check writing and debit cards?
Yes, Ditto Trade offers check writing and debit cards for your accounts.

Are there special requirements for foreign citizens?
Non-U.S. citizens can open an account with Ditto Trade with the exception of residents of some countries in U.S. government-blocked jurisdictions. If you are a foreign customer without a Social Security number you will be required to submit the following documentation after you submit your application online:
1. A signed copy of your account application
2. A signed W-8 form
3. A copy of your current, valid, government-issued picture ID (i.e. passport)

Are statements available online?
Yes, all monthly, quarterly and yearly statements are available online.

What kind of account protection for my securities is provided?
Ditto Trade Inc. is a member of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), and as a member of the SIPC, the securities in your account are protected for up to $500,000 including $100,000 for claims for cash. In addition to SIPC protection, our clearing firm, Penson Financial Services, Inc. maintains Excess SIPC protection that will cover the loss of customers' securities and cash,subject to certain conditions and limitations, up to an aggregate limit of $200,000,000 with a $900,000 cash maximum across all customer accounts. SIPC coverage and Excess SIPC coverage does not protect against the loss of your investments do to a change in the market (whether as a result of market movement, issuer bankruptcy or otherwise).

How do I deposit funds into my Ditto Trade account?
You can send a check made out to Penson Financial Services with your account number posted clearly in the memo section to the following address:

How do I deposit physical stock certificates into my Ditto Trade account?
All stocks to be deposited should be accompanied by a Securities Transmittal Form and be properly endorsed. Click here to print the appropriate form. If the certificates are not properly endorsed, they must have an original stock power attached to make them negotiable.

Physical Stock Receipts are placed in a restricted location until they are cleared by the transfer agent. If the registered owner is a corporation, an officer of the corporation must endorse the certificate. A corporate resolution signed by an officer other than the one signing the security must accompany the stock certificate. This resolution must be dated within six (6) months of the presentation of the security.

If a certificate is registered in the name of an investment club, there must be an endorsement by an authorized member of the club. A certified charter of the club and a resolution dated within the last 6 months signed by a member other than the person who has signed the certificate must also accompany the stock certificate.

If a certificate is registered in joint tenants and one of the joint owners is deceased, we must have an original endorsement by the survivor. A certified copy of the death certificate and an affidavit of domicile originally signed by the survivor must accompany the stock certificate, as well. The affidavit must be originally signed and duly notarized by a notary public.

Third party stock receipts are not permitted. We do not accept any third-party stock.


TRADING

What is the Master Trader Program?
The Master Trader Program is a unique service where you can auto-trade alongside a full time trader. See the Master Trader FAQ’s for more information.

What are Ditto Trade’s commission rates?
Our rates are a low $6.95 per equity trade. Our options trades are a low $6.95 plus .75 a contract.

How do I place a stock trade?
You can place trades online or by telephone via a live broker. Please note trades via a live broker will incur higher commission rates.

What is day trading?
A day trade is defined as opening and closing (buying and then selling, or short selling and then buying to cover) the same security on the same day.

Does Ditto Trade allow day trading?
Yes. If you are classified as a pattern day trader (PDT), you are required to maintain a minimum account balance of $25,000 at all times. According to securities regulation, you are considered a pattern day trader if you make more than 3 day trades within a period of 5 business days.

Can I buy foreign ordinary shares?
No. Ditto Trade does not support purchases of foreign ordinary shares.

Does Ditto Trade offer extending hours trading?
No. Ditto Trade does not offer extending hours trading at this time.

Can I purchase mutual funds?
No. At this time Ditto trade doe not offer mutual funds.

Can I trade pink sheets or penny stocks?
No. At this time Ditto trade does not offer pink sheet or penny stock trading.


MASTER TRADER PROGRAM

Who are the Master Traders and what happens when I set my account with one?
The Master Traders are third party individuals/Newsletters who trade for their own accounts. What makes the program unique is that the Master Traders utilize software that displays in real time their daily trade information, including Watchlist, order entries, exits and targets on your screen. In addition, you have the ability to set your account to trade automatically alongside the trader, in whole or in part.

How do I sign up?
In order to follow a Master Trader, you just need to fill out a Master Trader Subscriber Form, indicating which Master Trader you wish to follow, a Letter of Agreement and have funded a Ditto Trade Account.

Can anyone participate in a Master Trader Account?
Yes. The Master Trader program is open to all account holders. The only restrictions are those that may require you to have approval for specific account types (i.e. if your Master Trader utilizes options strategies, you would need to be approved for options trading). Because the Master Traders are independent, non-employed or affiliates of Ditto Trade, additional paperwork and disclosures are required to open a Master Trader Account as well.

Is my Master Trader Account funded differently from my other accounts or does it come out of the same funds?
Your Master Trader funds come out of your regular Ditto Trade Account, and is where the trades initiated by the Master Trader will take place.

How much does it cost to participate in the Master Trader Program?
Because the Master Traders are independent traders not employed or associated with Ditto Trade, each sets their own subscriber fee to access their insight, strategies and actual trades in real time. You can see these by going to their individual Master Trader page. Ditto Trade doesn’t charge any fees for the Master Trader program.

How do I pay for it?
Your Ditto Trade Account will be debited monthly.

How much do I have to have to open a Master Trader Account?
If you are subscribing to a Master Trader who does day trading, you need a minimum of $25,000 in your account. If you subscribe to a Master Trader who does not do day trading, you only need the minimum amount to open a Ditto Trade Account, which is $2,000.

Is my Master Trader Account funded separately from my other accounts or does it come out of the same funds?
Your regular Ditto Trade account also acts as your Master Trader Account. All funds reside there, and all trades take place there. You need a separate Ditto Trade Account for each Master Trader to choose to subscribe to.

Why do I need that much?
SEC regulations require that accounts designated as Pattern Day Traders, maintain a minimum balance of $25,000.

What if it falls below that amount?
You will be able to close out trades, but you will not be able to open any new positions until the balance is a minimum of $25,000.

Can I open an account with less?
No.

Do I have to make the same dollar value trades as the Master Trader?
No, Ditto Trade’s cutting edge customer dashboard allows you to employ a variety of risk management parameters for your account. By setting your own maximum purchase, loss limit, daily loss limit, and daily gain limit to lock in any profit, our system will automatically calculate the proper amount of stock to purchase based on the percentage of your set parameters. Note: You may be subject to pattern day trading account minimum balances if the Master Trader you are connected to follows a day trading strategy.

Can I choose which stock to trade?
Yes. It is your responsibility to choose to participate with a given stock. You may also choose to set your account at “full throttle” which connects to every trade the Master Trader will be making.

What if I want to hold a stock that was purchased alongside the Master Trader or want to change the exit or target?
Ditto Trade’s unique customer dashboard will allow you to “disconnect” any stock from the Master Trader giving you complete control over how to manage it yourself.

Can I trade securities that don’t have anything to do with the Master Trader?
You can trade any securities available through Ditto Trade in your Ditto Trade Account, regardless of whether a Master Trader trades them or not.

If I join the Master Trader Program does it give me access to other Master Trader’s blogs etc or just the Master Trader I’m following?
Ditto DNA members can access all Master Trader blogs. However, Master Traders will from time to time create premium content that is only available to their individual subscribers.

Can I turn off my connection to the Master Trader any time I want?
Yes. You can even change your connection in the middle of the trading day and even in the middle of particular trade.

What if I want to change Master Traders?
You can cancel your subscription to a Master Trader at any time, and we will pro-rate your subscriber fee. You will then be able to choose another Master Trader to subscribe to.

Can I change at any time or just at specific time?
At any time.

How do I choose another Master Trader and does it happen instantly?
You fill out and fax a new Master Trader Subscriber Form. It happens within 24 hours.

Can I sign up for more than one Master Trader at a time… one for my main account and one for my IRA?
You can sign up for as many Master Traders at one time as you want, however, you will have to maintain a separately funded Ditto Trade Account for each Master Trader you are subscribing to.

If I have two Master Traders do I then need $50,000 to day trade?
You will always need a minimum of $25,000 for any individual account in which day trading will take place.

Do I get statements every month for Master Trader activity?
You will receive a consolidated statement for each separate Ditto Trade Account you hold, and that statement will include Master Trader activity.

QUOTES & TOOLS

How do I access real-time quotes?
As a Ditto Trade account holder you just need to fill out the required Exchange Agreement. Once you are logged onto the site all request for a stock or option quote will be displayed in real-time. Please note that for nonprofessionals only, there is a $1/per month equities quote fee (reimbursed by Ditto Trade after two trades monthly), and a $1/per month options quote fee (reimbursed by Ditto Trade additional two trades monthly).

Is research on individual companies available?
Yes. You can pull up company information and news.

Are options chains available?
Yes. You can pull up real-time option chains.


SECURITY

Is my account secure?
Ditto Trade and our clearing firm Penson Worldwide utilize secure servers and unique username and password prompts in order to log in and access personal data related to your account. We operate with the understanding that your personal information is private. While we do our part in keeping your information safe, we recommend you that you regularly monitor your account and statements regularly to verify all transaction activity. How can I protect my username and password?
Ditto Trade will never request your password information. If you forget your password only you can reset your password by going online and following the "Forgot your password?" instructions on the login page. When creating a password for your account stay away from common words or numbers, such as your pets name or your birthday. We strongly recommend that your password contains a combination of letters, numbers and special characters.


FRIENDS, FAMILY & FOLLOWERS

How does this program let me follow someone’s trades?
What makes the program unique is software that displays in real time the daily trade information including the Watchlist, order entries, exits and targets of someone you chose to follow. In addition, you have the ability to set your account to trade automatically alongside the trader, in whole or in part, or if you prefer, to just receive alerts.

How do I sign up to follow someone I know? Do they have to approve me?
They must first have a “Dittoable” account (see below). You then just need to fill out a FFF Subscriber Form, indicating which Ditto Trade customer you wish to follow, and fund a Ditto Trade Account. Yes, a FFF Trader has to approve you to allow you to ditto their trades.

Does Ditto Trade screen FFF Traders?
No. The relationship between a FFF Trader and a FFF subscriber is private and Ditto Trade is not a party to it. It is the FFF subscriber’s responsibility to vette the FFF Trader in any way that they feel necessary before participating in their trades.

Is my FFF funded differently from my other accounts or does it come out of the same funds?
FFF trades take place in your regular Ditto Trade Account.

How much does it cost?
A subscription fee, if any, is between the FFF Trader and the subscriber. Ditto Trade is not a party to any agreement. Ditto Trade does not take any fees for the FFF Program.

How do I pay for it?
A subscription fee, if any, is between the FFF Trader and the subscriber. Ditto Trade is not a party to any agreement.

What if I want to change who I follow?
You may cancel your FFF subscription at anytime and then you may then choose another FFF Trader to follow.

Can I change at any time or just at the end of the month?
At any time.

Can I follow more than one person at a time like one for my main account and one for my IRA?

Yes. You can even change your connection in the middle of the trading day and even in the middle of particular trade.

If I click the “Close All Market” button on the Dashboard does it just close all the activity of the person I’m following or does it close all my other positions as well?
The “Close All Market” button closes ALL positions you hold in your account.

How do I enable people to follow me?
You must first make your Ditto Trade account “Dittoable” by submitting the “Insert Name” form, which will allow your subscribers to follow you.

Do I get paid?
You may wish to charge a fee to those who follow you as a FFF Trader. However, that arrangement is strictly between you and your subscribers, and Ditto Trade is not a party to it.

Do I get statements every month for FFF activity?
You will receive a consolidated statement for each separate Ditto Trade Account you hold, and that statement will include FFF activity.
